I interviewed three people for this assignment to figure out
buyer behavior. For my product, I would create a app for parking, that
organizes the parking in Gainesville and is able to tell people where available
parking spots are located. This would be something that many would use because
so many people that live in Gainesville are very frustrated with the
Gainesville parking situation.
Dalton Dessi: Dalton said when buying things, price matters.
Typically, he would not buy an app that would cost money, but if this would
help him search for parking, this is something he would be interested in. Dalton
currently works two jobs, one on sorority row as a busboy, and he struggles to
find parking when he has to work.
Joey Ierulli: Joey works at Shands and has trouble finding
parking after work. He thinks the idea of making an app for Gainesville parking
would be perfect. Since the product would be an app, the segment would be for
online.
Sam Shafran: Sam believes this would help the parking
situation in Gainesville. Along with any others, Sam struggles to find parking
close to her apartment complex. She believes an app would be easier to help her
find parking instead of searching for hours. This would also show her when spots
open up and which areas have parking available.
Overall, all of the people I interviewed agreed that this
would be an app that they would purchase. They believe this would help them
find parking and eliminate the struggle of driving around in circles. Customers
would determine that this purchase is a good one because this will help them
find parking quickly and efficiently. I found that people would enjoy this app
and would actually buy something like this if it existed.
